For the Technical Center of a large and international company in the aviation industry,
we are looking for:
Specialist/Engineer DME / VOR / NDB
The Technical Center wants to strengthen its DME / VOR / NDB-group with an engineer with the relevant expertise.
Job description:
• Assist the airport management with malfunction and breakdown of the equipment
• Assist at the assembly and commissioning of new equipment
• Making course materials and carry out training operations
The company is under way with the replacement of a large number of DME plant.
This project will take most of the time during the first few years. The applicant should consider a significant travel in the future also.
The successful applicant undertakes to conduct the courses and the training that the company considers to be necessary for the position. Technical training in aerospace navigation service will be given and concluded with exam.
Qualification:
• Engineering in the electronics / information technology.
• Experience in working with RF-based systems
• Good Norwegian and English skills required, written and oral
• Driving license B
The position involves work in a technical / operational environment. The company emphasizes the ability to work independently and as a team, and on personal qualities such as initiative, accuracy, responsibility. Good communication skills are required.
The work is mainly carried out at all of the company’s airports, as well as mountain peaks. The applicants should have good physical capacity.

Salaries are based on a collective agreement and personal qualifications. The salary will be deducted by 2% deposit to the State Pension Fund.
Location: Asker. The employee is required to provide a security clearance.
